Baglio Lauria is an ancient franciscan monastery called (by them) ”the Crucified”.
It was bought by our ancestor Paolo Lauria in the second half of the nineteenth-century,the day after the unity of Italy.
The area of this farm is large about fifty hectares.Originally,it was a cereal growing while today it is a vineyard,an almondyard and an olive-yard growing where we yeld a very good extra vergine olive-oil to offer to our guest.

Baglio Làuria,lies on the plateau of Campobello di Licata at abaut 300 m.above sea-level.
It is possible to go an some excursions and to visit the villages near the Baglio lauria,such as Campobello di Licata, Naro, Palma di Montechiaro, and Licata, places rich of ancient artistic and historical works, and above all,at abaut 30km, there is Agrigento and its spendid “Valle dei templi”
