The farm is on the hill of the Iblei valley, South of Lauro Mount, between Siracusa and Ragusa, the ideal place for whom loves the nature, the silence and the lost flavours. 16 hectares of land allow the rearing of cows, farmyard animals, horses and the cultivation of olives and vegetables (everything is produced by ourselves). You can buy extra vergine biological olive oil, cheese, the good Ragusano and salumi.

It is easy to get the farm: from Siracusa go onto the Giarratana road, then forward to Palazzolo Acreide which is at just 8 km from the farm. The building is 45 km far away from the train station in Siracusa and 25 km from that one in Ragusa.

The farm is a rural building dated the end of '700, partly renovated. The guests are received all the year in two double rooms and one flat with sober furniture, air conditioned, private bathroom, for a total amount of 12 beds. It is also possible to make camping in one area of 400 squared metres well organized making use of all the comforts of the farm.

The guests can participate in the agricultural activities or if they prefer just relax themselves in the meadow carefully equipped with benches and a little park for children. For the keens of the sport: table-tennis, bowls, trekking, horse-rides and tours through the paths of the wood or long the river banks. Who wants to take some chilliness can go to the swimming pool or to the sea in Fontane Bianche.

You can taste the delicious flavours of the Sicilian cuisine with the typical local products: warm ricotta (the most important dish of the farm), peppers, aubergines, cheese, mozzarella and salumi. Among the specialities there are the "ravioli", the roast of sheep or chicken meat with tasteful salades (we remind you that everything is produced by ourselves).

You can use the farm as the starting point to visit cultural, artistic and archaeological places: Siracusa with its archaeological park and the famous historic centre of Ortigia; Noto, the baroque city called the "stone meadow"; Kamarina, archaeological place; Palazzolo Acreide, rich of history, culture and traditions; Buscemi, the "museum village" which, with its etnoantropologic museum, affects the habitat.
