The Site

Amongst the secular olive trees, a few km from Siracusa, the 'Capo Corso' homestead, high up on a hill, dominates a territory rich in culture and history. The owner being environmentally friendly, has chosen organic farming methods. The farm, 10 ha in size, besides producing the traditional olives, vegetables, pulses and cereals, has also started cultivating `plerotus' mushrooms in a specially created environment. The homestead sells marmalade, extra-virgin olive oil, vegetables and breeds courtyard animals that graze naturally.

How to Get There:

By car, at the end of Catania-Siracusa highway, head towards the fork for Sortino and follow the signs to the homestead. The bus stops 100 m from the homestead. The nearest railway station is Siracusa. Catania Fontanarossa airport is 40 km away.
