Bordered by the sea and S. The well-preserved Simeto oasis is 7 km away, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. The `Terias' homestead is 35 ha in size, it mainly produces cereals and citrus fruits. One can buy citrus fruits, jams, honey and `rosolio' direct from the farm.

The homestead is located along the SS 114 Catania-Siracusa state road, at the 116+500 km mark, immediately after the bridge on S. Leonardo river, heading for Catania. It is 15 km from Catania airport and 20 km from Catania railway station.

Accomodation:

Guests are put up in a late 19" century rural farmhouse, restored about twenty years ago. It has 5 two-room units and 2 three-room units, all with modern furnishing, ensuite bathrooms and kitchen, sleeping 30 in total. The old warehouse has been converted into a large lounge.
