The place:

Casabianca farm, located at a few kilometres from Lentini, is a building made up of lava dated the beginning of '800.
Situated on a little hill overlooks Lentini lake and has a straordinary landescape with the imposing Etna as background.
The direct contact with the nature and with the peasant life makes you live, in the most absolute quietness, moments of unusual serenity.
In order to dip in the magic atmosphere of the old paesant life we prepared a little museum of the rural culture where there are shown the habits of the last two centuries.
In the farm there is a little market where you can buy all the products that we prepare and manufacture.
How to get the place:

Reach the farm from Catania is very simple: leaving from Ponte di Primosole then forward to Lentini-Caltagirone junction that you will meet in 3 km, going on towords Caltagirone and after 15 km turn on the left going through a level crossing. At this point going on for further 4 km and at the first junction you must turn on the left again and after 900 metres there are Casabianca fences.
From Siracusa is even easier since you arrive to Lentini, take the circumvallation and then the road toward Scordia. After 4 km the road markings will show you that after 900 metres you will be in Casabianca farm.

Hospitality:


At the moment the farm has 5 lay-by in order to receive 20 roulottes: we confirm all comforts.
The Kitchen:

You can enjoy the characteristic local dishes in the stalls on old casks. Food is prepared by ourselves and either barbecued or baked in a old stone-burning oven.
At the moment the farm may offer restoration for 300 guests, and for schools we propose didactic-cultural activities to show rural techniques, for exemple how we prepare bread, jam, and other preserves and our production of honey from the bee hives located near the citrus plantation.

Place to visit:

Interesting are the trips that you can make before to reach the farm for the lunch. Siracusa is famous in the world for its amazing and old vestiges. Anyway, if you prefer to stay in the farm without traveling a lot, we advice not to loose the opportunity to make a tour by car near the banks of Lentini lake, the famous "biviere", destination and stay place for numerous flighting birds.
