Located on the slopes of Etna, at 550 metres on the sea level, in one of the most antique Etnean and very enchanting village, Trecastagni, nicknamed "il Belvedere dell' Etna" Giada farm (5 hectares) offers you a wonderful landescape with Etna view in one side and the Ionic coast in the other.
In this healthy, quiet, fresh during the Summer and mild during the Winter, full of colours and parfumes habitat Pulvirenti farm allows you to spend a quiet stay.
We cultivate in a biological way citrus fruit and vegetables since 1988 (AIAB Certified).We directly sell them with the other products, as biological jam without sugar.

From the motorway A 19 Palermo-Catania go onto the West bypass as far as S. Gregorio di Catania toolbooth, then go long S. Giovanni La Punta and Trecastagni.
Pulvirenti farm is easy to reach, since it is very near to Catania to which it is connected every hour by means of the AST train line to Trecastagni (request stop Altarino Tre Santi, South corner with Mameli street).

Giada farm, open all the year, offers hospitality in two comfortable buildings: one located in the centre and the other situated at 300 metres from the centre. Both the building, provided with heater and TV, are dated 1920/1937 and have been recently renovated.
The total accomodation is 19 beds arranged in flats with 3, 5 or 8 beds. A stay for disabled people is also available with 3 beds and private and operative bathroom.
The farm is provided with a hall where there is a fireplace and a table to play table-tennis.
We prepare also meals for whom decide not to stay for the night..
We speak French and German, the minimum duration of the stay is two nights with compulsory phone booking. We accepte small domestic animals.

Bicycles are available for the guests to make long and relaxing rides in the middle of the nature, bowls field, table-tennis and a little park for children are available as well.
In the neighbourhood of Trecastagni you may parctise every kind of sport: Winter skiing, tours on Etna, ice skating, boat tours and swimming long the Ionic coast, besides horse-rides, soccer, tennis, gym, trakking walking long natural paths in S. Nicolò Gorna and Ilice Mounts.
While for the the keens of golf there is a field in 20 km.

During your stay in the farm we supply you itineraries (brochures) with the places to visit, so that you can better organize how spend your time.
Very interesting and suggestive is the visit to Etna park, located at just 15 km from the farm.
The volcano with its lava flows and its numerous little villages situated on the slopes at different altitudes, offers a marvellous landescape.
The near location of the toolbooths allows you to connect easily with Siracusa, Ragusa, Enna and Agrigento.
For the keens of the sea it is easy to reach the beach Fondachello with black sand (at 6 km) and the Gole dell'Alacantara.
