A 50 Kilometres from Palermo, near Campofelice di Roccella and not far from Cefalù with the sea only a ten-minute drive away.The Park of Madonie is just behind us and is ideal for excursions and nature walks. Not very far away is the ancient city of Himera with an interesting archeological zone and museum.

Branch off from the Palermo-Catania motorway at Buonfornello, after a straight stretch, at the fork take the turning for Campofelice di Roccella and then turn immediately right following the indications for the “lungomare” – “sea front”. As soon as the asphalt ends the road branches off to the right to the sea but you continue straight on a dirt track and pass under a bridge where the asphalt begins again and after about 2 Kilometres you will find a green gate on the left which is our entrance.

The house, recently renovated, is a rural building of the 19th century . partly hidden by trees and surrounded by farmland with a view over the valley and the sea below.

It has central heating. two fireplaces, a wood-fuelled oven, four kitchens and five bathrooms with hot water .

The land covers about 9 hectares and is prevalently dedicated to citrus and olive trees but also has a small vegetable garden and fruit trees for domestic use.

Two natural springs. which are used for irrigation, feed ancient ponds where there are frogs ancient water-lillies.

The house can sleep 12 people, all rooms have their own bathroom, and can be divided into 2 independent apartments: The smaller one is suitable for a couple, the larger one is for 8-10 people .

It is possible to rent for periods of a weekend, a week, a month or more.

If you wish, but subject to booking you can taste our genuine home cooking out in the open air in summer and by the fireside in winter .
