`Borgo degli Olivi', an ancient manor, nestles between the Nebrodi
Regional Park and the Tyrrhenian coast, in the valley of the Tusa
river. The building is surrounded by secular olive trees and by
thick Mediterranean maquis. The homestead boasts an old olive
press and an ancient mill, where a permanent exhibition of rural
traditions and civilisation is on show. It is an extremely relaxing
place to holiday, in the quietness of the countryside by the sea
or in the mountains. The farm specialises in producing extra-virgin
olive oil, jam, and cheese. The farm uses organic and animal-friendly
methods of production. Cheese is made from milk produced on the
farm. English and French are spoken.
