By car, from the A20 Messina-Palermo highway, exit at Brolo junction,
follow the SS 113 national road in the Capo d'Orlando direction,
take the fork towards Sinagra and drive along for 3 km. The homestead
is 6 km away from Capo d'Orlando bus/railway station and about 90
km from Catania airport.

A rural building dating from 1900, it has recently
been restored to its former architecture. It has 6 bedrooms totalling
18 beds, all comfortable and light, with ensuite bathrooms and separate
entrance, antique furnishings and great attention to details. Minimum
stay one week. The homestead has a lounge and a large dining room;
it is open all year round.

Activities available at the homestead include archery,
five-a-side, fitness, hiking, cookery and craft courses. Children
have a playground at their disposal. Nature lovers can go walking
in the Nebrodi Regional Park and admire the various animal species
populating the area. A horse riding centre is at a distance of 3
km.
The homestead serves traditional country dishes made
from natural wholesome ingredients. The menu includes olives, cheese,
`ricotta' cheese, vegetables and mushrooms as appetisers. Pasta
dishes consist of home made fresh pasta with local vegetables, tomato
sauce and aubergines, anchovies and ricotta. Main courses include
barbecued meats, kebabs and pork sausages or oven-baked little farmyard
roosters with barbecued vegetables. For dessert: the famous Sicilian
'cassata' and a selection of pies. For nut lovers, there are plenty
of hazelnuts, produced on the farm.
Besides Capo d'Orlando, that organises various summertime
events, there are pretty little surrounding villages with characteristic
religious festivals. Among them, Brolo and Sinagra, where country
festivals celebrate local produce and craft exhibitions are held.
Gioiosa Marea, popular among tourists for its crystal clear sea
water, is worth visiting also for its Main Church with artworks
by Gagini. At Raccuja, the Branciforti castle, the Medieval suburb
and the Main Church where a statue of the Virgin Mary believed to
be miraculous is kept. And then the Tholos, primitive stone constructions
made by shepherds according to ancient Greek tradition.
