The Site

The `Fattoria di Grenne' is a 16'" century mansion in the foothills of the Nebrodi mountains. The building, set between the intense greenery of the Park and the blue sapphire of the Tyrrhenian sea, offers the chance to spend a relaxing holiday in a pleasant and cosy atmosphere. The land, almost 40 ha in size, is cultivated organically and olive oil, preserves, jam, and condiments are sold. Cattle, sheep and poultry are raised on the farm. Situated at 200 meters a.s.l. and 4 km from the coast, in the summertime it is pleasantly cooled by the sea breeze.
How to Get There:


By car, via the A20 Messina-Palermo highway, exit at Brolo junction, then take the old road for Ficarra and after about 4 km you will see the farm. Capo d'Orlando railway station is 8 km away.
Accomodation:


The 16`'' century manor house has been immaculately restored in all its detail. It features a delightful private chapel in which it is possible to hold religious ceremonies and celebrate special occasions. There are five comfortable rooms available on the ground floor, fully serviced minimum stay two nights, half-board. with heating and bathrooms. There is an ample lounge heated by a fireplace that makes a warm and cosy atmosphere. The living quarters have wheelchair access. The homestead is open all year round, minimum stay two nights, half-board.
