Guests are put up in a typical rural building that
dates back to the early 20' century; restored about fifteen years
ago. There are 7 rooms, simply furnished, sleeping 18 in total.
The homestead is open all year round; minimum stay, out of season,
is two days. There is a dining room and a lounge. Courses are organised
in ceramics and relaxation techniques.

At the homestead it is possible to do horse riding
courses or simply go horse riding in the enchanting surroundings.
A bowls area and a tennis court are nearby. Cefalù with its beautiful
beaches, is 14 km away; here there is a wide variety of water sports
on offer.
Traditional recipes from the Madonie region, carefully
reworked to keep the essence of Sicilian peasant food alive, are
prepared simply yet tastily. Pasta courses include: pasta with wild
fennel, pasta with broccoli or cauliflower, Sicilian pasta pie,
risotto 'alla campagnola' with carrots, potatoes, peas and many
other vegetables. Among the main courses are: the meat loaf with
pork minced meat, cheese, raisins and pine nuts, omelettes with
cheese and chicory, `giri' (local wild greens) and spinach, or a
trio of mixed roast meats, tuma cheese and fried ricotta cheese.
Worth tasting is the vegetable couscous. On the dessert menu, are
home made apple jam pies.
Cefalù 14 km away, the popular tourist destination
is historical, with its medieval wash-house and magnificent Norman
Cathedral, and buzzing lively, especially in the summer time, with
its splendid beaches and busy programme of cultural events. Castelbuono,
the capital of the Madonie region, dominated by the imposing castle,
is 16 km away: Off the beaten track are Isnello and Gratteri, tiny
little villages oozing with the local culture where time, people
and things seem to have stood still. The sanctuary of Gibilmanna
is a centre for pilgrims from all over Sicily.
